It has been twenty-one years since the
September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.
There is now a National September 11 Memorial & Museum. One World Trade Center (Freedom Tower) is
the main building of the rebuilt World Trade Center complex.
In 2001, at 8:46 a.m. EDT, there was already
a memorial in the sky over New York City.
The constellation, Gemini, the Twins, was on the meridian,
high in the sky above the site of the Twin Towers.
The view this year is the same as it was at that time
if you could see it in a sun-less sky.
